It’s a pleasure to meet you here. First of all, I’d like to extend my warm greetings to all the friends from the world on behalf of China Railway 18th Bureau (Group) Co., Ltd. (CR18G). We, CR18G., is a group with first-class qualification in general contracting construction which is authorized in the first list by China and with foreign contracting qualification and business right. We may undertake all kinds of projects contracting such as industry, energy resources, communications and civil work. We have 9 subsidiaries, 7 sub-companies and 16 project headquarters. There are 20,000 employees and over 4,000 technical staff with various professions among which there are 1,000 staff with senior and middle titles. The total capital of the enterprise is RMB Yuan 3 billion more and the registered capital is RMB Yuan 530million. We hold one TBM with the value of RMB Yuan 360million, which is the most advanced tunnel equipment in the world, as well as over 3,000 sets of various advanced machinery and equipment with the total power rate of 290,000kw. The average equipment per person is 19.4kw and the technical equipment is above RMB Yuan 20,000, so that the comprehensive mechanical ability is up to 80%. The annual construction ability is more than RMB Yuan 4.5 billion. Our quality guideline is Pursuing the better forever and satisfying the customers with high quality products and the Principle and Aim is Qulaity First, Credit Uppermost, Brave Enough to be the first and active enough to achieve the first. The projects undertaken are mainly characterized as high, large, difficult, sharp and dangerous. We have achieved 13 No. Ones in bridge and tunnel construction and over 30 top-level construction, such as Diversion Tunnel of Geheyan Power Station in Hubei Province with the largest section in Asian-Pacific area; Badu Nanpanjiang Extra-Large Bridge with the highest V-support railway bridge in the world, the longest railway tunnel in China – Qinling Tunnel (18.4km); the longest road tunnel in China – Qinling Tunnel, the highest altitude railway project in the world -- Qingzang Railway (5,072m). TBM, the most advanced full-section excavator in the world, was firstly used by us within the national railway system. The max. monthly speed of TBM construction is 551.818m, building an international highest record. There’re 23 tunnels that have completed over 5km, among which we have constructed 14 tunnels. 500 more national and provincial projects about railway, water conservancy, road, civil work have been executed by us as well as some overseas projects such as Pakistan Upper Swat Canal Diversion Project, Nigeria Railway Rehabilitation Project and Saudi Arab High-Rank Road. We’ve been awarded with 2 Gold Prizes, 4 Silver Prizes, 4 Luban Prizes, 4 National Satisfying-Customers Prizes and 40 Excellent Work Prizes from Provinces and Ministries. For another, we’ve got a series of titles, for example, National Excellent Construction Enterprise, Super-Prize of National Science-Tech Development, One of 500 Construction Enterprises with the Largest Business Scope, One of 500 Construction Enterprises with the Best Benefit, 100 Enterprises with the Best Business Achievements in National Construction System, Enterprise with Excellent Spirit Work. The 9 subsidiaries under the Group have obtained the Assurance Certificate of ISO9001 International Quality System and upgraded through ISO9002 System so as to realize the connection with the international standard and to become a large national construction enterprise with strong ability and first-rate managing level. Following with the participation to WTO, all employees of CR18G are ready to welcome the new challenge with the new image. The current business concept, way of management and work shall be reformed to be suitable for the WTO regulations and the new requirements caused thereof along with existence and development under new situation.
